Your team
YURN accounts have two roles: the owner (whoever created the business) and staff. Staff run the counter; the owner runs the business.
Inviting staff
Section titled “Inviting staff”In Settings → Team, enter a teammate’s email and hit Invite. They get an email; the first time they sign in with that address — no password, we send a code — they land straight in your portal. Until they sign in, the roster shows them as invited.
An email address can belong to only one business. If your teammate already owns a different YURN business under that address, use another one.
What staff can do
Section titled “What staff can do”Everything day-to-day:
- Compose, schedule, and send offers (the same automated review applies).
- Work the Ticket book — redeem tickets and release no-shows.
- See followers, the dashboard, analytics, and the QR studio.
What staff can’t do
Section titled “What staff can’t do”Owner-only, enforced server-side regardless of what’s visible:
- Billing — upgrading, downgrading, payment details.
- Business settings — name, address, average ticket, verification.
- The team itself — inviting or removing members.
Removing someone
Section titled “Removing someone”Owners remove staff from the same Team card. Access ends on their very next request — there is no grace period, and no shared password to rotate because there are no passwords at all. Owners can’t be removed; that’s a support conversation.
A note on sign-in security
Section titled “A note on sign-in security”Every sign-in and failed attempt on the account — yours and your staff’s — is listed under Settings → Sign-in activity with method and IP. If anything there looks unfamiliar, reply to any YURN email and we’ll lock the account down.
