Pricing & tiers

YURN has three tiers — Free and Pro today, Premium coming soon. The boundary between Free and Pro is whose name is on the message; the boundary between Pro and Premium is whether YURN can see your register.

On the Free tier, YURN is the registered sender. Your messages ride YURN’s carrier-registered numbers, and your business name appears in the message content: Tony's Pizza via YURN: …. This is what lets a Free merchant go live in under five minutes — no carrier paperwork, no waiting.

Because all Free merchants share YURN’s sending reputation, the guardrails are stricter: every offer gets the strict review profile, and opt-out thresholds are tighter. That’s not a punishment — it’s what keeps deliverability high for everyone on the shared number.

On Pro, we register your brand with the carriers and provision a dedicated local phone number for your business. Messages come from your number and lead with your name alone. Registration typically takes under a week (it’s a carrier process, not ours); you send on the shared YURN number until yours is approved, so there’s no gap.

Pro also unlocks behavioral segments — message only your most responsive followers, or win back the quiet ones — plus the full funnel (sent → delivered → clicked → claimed → redeemed), per-segment breakdowns, and CSV export.

Premium — your point of sale, wired to your texts (coming soon)

Section titled “Premium — your point of sale, wired to your texts (coming soon)”

Premium connects your register to YURN, starting with Square (Toast and Clover next). That connection upgrades three things:

  • Proof. “Est. recovered ≈ claims × average ticket” becomes “this send produced $1,842 across 31 checks” — receipt-level revenue attribution, matched at the register.
  • Targeting. Offers driven by what people actually bought: “bought X → 50% off Y”, category triggers, spend floors, and lapsed-regular windows.
  • Automation. Win-backs that text a regular who hasn’t been in for N days, waitlist auto-promotion, and one-time discount codes the register redeems automatically — closing the loop on the funnel’s last stage. Automations ride the exact same compliance pipeline as manual sends: quiet hours, STOP, caps, and review apply with zero exemptions, and automation volume is metered (1,000 messages/month included, $0.02 each after).

Premium is announced but not yet shipping. Join the early-access list on yurn.com — waitlist members get first access and shape the build order.

Bringing an existing list (Pro and Premium)

Section titled “Bringing an existing list (Pro and Premium)”

Already built a subscriber list on another platform? Pro merchants can bring it — with the care this deserves, because consent is the whole product:

  1. Upload two CSVs: your opted-in subscribers and your opt-out list. The opt-outs carry over no matter what — that’s non-negotiable.
  2. Sign the consent warranty: the account owner attests where the list came from, how consent was collected, and over what period. This is a binding record, stored with your signature and timestamp.
  3. We review it. A human looks at every import before anything happens.
  4. Your subscribers confirm. Nobody imported ever receives an offer directly. Each gets exactly one text — “ has moved to YURN. Reply YES to keep getting their deals, STOP to opt out.” A YES puts them on your list with fresh, carrier-witnessed consent. Silence means they’re never texted again.

Expect a healthy list to reconfirm at 30–60%. That’s not loss — the people who don’t reply weren’t reading your texts, and carrying them would only have dragged your deliverability down. Free-tier accounts can’t import: they share YURN’s sending number, and imported lists are the single biggest deliverability risk in SMS.

The follower cap is the honest signal. Hitting 250 followers means your QR is working and reach is being left on the table — the portal will show you how many people you’re turning away each week. If your offers regularly sell out, or if you want your own number on the caller ID, that’s the moment.

Every tier passes every offer through content review, and every tier honors MUTE and STOP instantly — automations included. Compliance is not a paid feature.
